Dudley awarded National Disability award
22 year-old student Dudley Afford has returned from the National Disability Awards, at Parliament House in Canberra, the recipient of the Disability Rights Young Leader Award.
Alongside his studies at Open Access College, Dudley has lobbied locally to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, and the aged. Dudley lobbied his face-to-face school in Mount Barker to become more wheelchair friendly to assist his studies, but has also lobbied for better disabled toilet access and pedestrian traffic light push buttons, assisting the broader community.
