Premiers Reading Challenge 2017
The Challenge has closed for 2017. Thank you to everyone who joined in and read at least 12 books for the year. We are looking forward to having a record number of students involved in PRC in 2018.
The Australian Reading Hour was on Thursday 14 September. Everyone was encouraged to find an hour in that day to pick up a book and read it – to yourself, your students, children …
Students who let us know they participated will receive a certificate.
Resources on the Website
This is a very busy time for students, in particular the senior school students. Don’t forget to use the range of resources available from the library and accessed from the OAC webpage. The link to the Library and then the catalogue, databases and other links can be found in the grey box at the bottom of the website under Information or at the top under the About OAC link. We hope you enjoying using the Library resources from the website. If you need assistance to use the resources please ring or email the Library – we are here to help!
Library open two days in the October school holidays
The library will be open from 9am to 3.30pm on at least two days after the long weekend. We will confirm with teachers and students once the dates are set. This is a good opportunity if you need to catch up on tests and/or need a quiet place to work. Library staff will be available to give assistance if required.
We know there are a variety of events happening and students are coming in to Marden. When you are here please visit us in the library and meet the staff and check out the resources.
If you would like to organise resources or become involved in one of the library events, please contact us. Our phone numbers are (08) 8309 3620 or (08) 8366 2822 or use the 1800 882 328 number and ask for the library. You can also email [email protected] and follow us on Twitter @mardenlibrary
