Elite Athletes Study at OAC
One of our enrollment categories at OAC caters for elite athletes. Due to hectic training schedules, travel for competitions and interstate or overseas placements these young people often find it difficult to attend regular schools.
Library News Term 2
As well as magazines the library has an extensive range of resources you can access either via the website or we can send them out to you, including books, DVDs, and audio books. Resources are available online too via the Library link on the OAC website.
Year 11 & 12 Formal
We are inviting year 11 and 12 students to our 2017 Formal: Hollywood meets Bollywood. Tickets will be on sale early in Term 2.
2017 Public Education Awards
The 2017 Public Education Awards acknowledges the talent and dedication of people working in public education in SA.
Students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 will undertake the NAPLAN (National Assessment Program, Literacy and Numeracy) over three days in the week beginning 15th May.

A suite of fact sheets that give parents tips and ideas to help their children learn at home from the early years right through to secondary school have been released to support parents to engage in their child’s education.
Understanding the Boy Code
Nationally recognised parenting speaker, author and columnist Dr Justin Coulson will help parents understand the ‘boy code’ and what it means for boys and girls, as well as provide tips for parents about how to help young people see beyond stereotypes as part of a free Parenting SA seminar to be held later this month.
