Desalination Plan Excursion
On Friday 15 September, a group of Year 9 Central Studies students visited the Adelaide Desalination Plant as part of an integrated unit on Sustainability.
Languages Come in Day
On 14 September, language students from R-10 came to Open Access College to learn about festivals and celebrations around the world.
Student Leaders Excursion to Glenelg
Student Leaders met for a catch-up and planning day at Glenelg last term. The day was a success - fantastic weather and great company.
Alternative Programs Sciworld Come in Day
On Tuesday 26 September, the PLP group had a Come-in Day that had two focuses.
Government House Reception
Elisabeth and Morgan attended as Open Access College student representatives. They really enjoyed the experience and felt a bit like they were receiving the royal treatment.
Sue Johnston Honoured with Inaugural Award
Sue Johnston, our school Library Manager, has won the Inaugural Award for Fellowship of the Australian School Library Association.

Minister's Volunteering Award
Open Access College is participating in the Minister's Volunteering Award for Outstanding Service. This award, aims to recognise volunteers who make a significant contribution to our school community.
Children's University Graduation Ceremony
On Tuesday 19 September, 7 students from Open Access College graduated at the annual Children’s University Graduation Ceremony at Bonython Hall.

OzAsia Moon Lantern Parade
Elizabeth East Primary School students took part in the OzAsia Moon Lantern Parade.

Christmas Card Fundraiser
The School of the Air Distance Education Supervisors run a fundraiser each year to raise money for classroom resources at SOTA.
SA Student Citizenship Awards
On 18 October, Open Access College student Erin, along with 10 other student finalists from various SA schools, were presented with a Student Citizenship Plaque at Government House.
Celebrating the "Big Stuff"
On Sunday 15 October our Youth Worker attended Tea Tree Gully Moto-Cross club to support year 11 Open Access student Jeremy's final race for 2017.
