OAC Student and Teacher receive awards at the HASS Teachers Conference

Congratulates to OAC student Diana, who was announced winner of the Leila Rankine Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in SACE Stage 2 Aboriginal Studies for South Australia and the Northern Territory, for 2020. Diana was presented with the award at the HASS Teachers Conference at the Botanic High School on May 2. This year, Diana commenced her studies towards a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and Bachelor of Arts at the Flinders University.

At the same conference Diana’s teacher, Anna Christo was awarded the Aboriginal Studies Teaching Award for excellence in teaching SACE Stage 2 Aboriginal Studies for 2020.
