The Marden Education Centre Library is a great resource to use at Open Access College. Visit the library for your information, research and recreational needs. For assistance, or to have resources sent to you, please phone or email us (contact details in sidebar).

We can send you:

  • Books including some e-books and readers
  • DVDs, audio CDs and CD ROMs
  • Magazines
  • Equipment such as cameras, voice recorders and games
  • Information and resources to assist with your subjects.

We can also help with:

  • Information to help you use website resources, and links to use
  • Information to help with assignments, and ideas for reading
  • Post bags and Reply Paid slips
  • Queries about items from Resource Unit.

Join in the Challenge by reading 12 books before September.

Students will need to fill out a Student Reading Record and email to the library at [email protected] You can either print the form and fill it out manually, or download and fill in electronically. Please see the following link to download forms:

Premier's Reading Challenge Student Reading Records

You can include the following types of books on your form:

  • Print books
  • E-Books
  • Audio Books
  • Class/shared reading - this includes books you read at home with your family, or even books that are read to you by an adult
  • Prescribed books that you have to read for school (any subject)
  • Non-fiction
  • Research for assignments
  • Books in another language other than English

The Challenge is to do at least 60 minutes of physical activity on at least 5 days of the week for at least 4 weeks.

You will need to record your activity on paper by downloading the activity log and sending it to the library by the end of Term 3.
