Open Access College on the International Stage

Open Access College leaders and teachers were selected to showcase our work at the e-Learning & Innovative Pedagogies conference in Hobart early this term.

Miriam Parsons and Anna Werner shared our work in Leadership and Mentoring to support Early Career Teachers in the beginnings of their new careers. Courtney Miels and Maggie Dodd informed participants of the multilingual literacy approach many of our Language teachers use to support the development of student literacy in the primary years.

With over 300 participants and presentations from all over Australia, New Zealand and as far away as USA and Africa it was a great opportunity to see what is happening in the e-learning space and understanding Gen Z so that we are improving learning for all.

Many of the ideas will be explored further by OAC teachers.
