Primary Marden Excursion to Latitude
Posted on June 20, 2022
On Friday 3rd June, Marden Primary students attended an excursion to Latitude- a Trampoline Park and Rock Climbing Adventure centre. It was our best attended face-to-face event for a while!
Students challenged themselves to be brave and try out new physical challenges like rock climbing, bouncing and aerial activities whilst working with their peers and teachers.
Below are some of the highlights from our students and parents:
“I really liked the rock climbing. Even though I was a bit nervous, I pushed myself to climb higher on the poles with encouragement from my teacher and my Mum, I almost made it to the last one.” - Noah, Year 6
“I loved seeing my teacher and my classmates. It was fun and I loved that Shaana jumped on the trampolines, too”. - Jupiter, Year 2
“I loved bouncing and jumping, especially when I got to bounce the ball and jump high”. - Louis, Reception
“Such a great event kids loved it and it was a stress-free day. The teachers did an amazing job, thank you so much”. - Zoe and Andrew
“It was a lot fun my favourite bit was the grid and meeting my teachers and fellow students”. - Delta, Year 2
“It was fun and good to catch up with the other students and teachers I really enjoyed the whole day”. - Phoebe, Year 6
“Thank you so much to OAC for organising the Latitude excursion. Whilst it was quite an overwhelming experience for Hamish, he pushed through and challenged himself from initially watching others to actively participating. The highlight was Hamish having a lot of fun with the lovely and supportive OAC staff members and also chatting with students during lunch. He is really looking forward to the next excursion”. - Angela
“It was 💯 % fun!” - Griffin, Reception
