2018 Mission Australia Youth Survey

This is the 17th annual online survey by Mission Australia, which gives voice to the concerns, values and thoughts of 15 to 19 year olds across the country.

In the 2017 Youth Survey, young people told us that the top three most important issues in Australia were ‘mental health’, ‘alcohol and drugs’ and ‘equity and discrimination’. This year’s survey will ask new focus questions to delve deeper into issues around social media, alcohol and drugs, barriers to employment and how young people feel about their community.

As with previous years, Youth Survey are able to offer tailored individual reports to schools that anticipate being able to collect 100 or more responses. These reports detail Youth Survey results from young people at your school, and can be a valuable resource for informing school programs, pastoral care activities, and wellbeing initiatives.

If you would like to get involved with the survey and receive an individualised report for your school in 2018, simply reply to this email and we will send you some further information about the survey and a unique code for your school.

The survey can be accessed at www.missionaustralia.com.au/youthsurvey, and will be open until Tuesday the 31st of July 2018. You may also like to join in the conversation online on Facebook (www.facebook.com/MissionAust) or Twitter (@MissionAust) using the hashtag #YouthSurvey2018.

You play an important role in our research – we greatly appreciate your support in encouraging young people to take part and have their say!
