Years 7 and 8 Plaster Fun House Excursion Highlights

Last Friday the year 7/8 Art students of OAC had the opportunity to attend an excursion to the ‘Plaster Fun House’ of Wayville. While there, students were able to pick out pieces they wished to paint and begin doing so; applying techniques and knowledge learned throughout the semester to these projects. Students showcased their colour mixing, blending, desire to experiment, fine line work, and aesthetic choices as they completed their projects.

The opportunity also gave students the ever-important chance to meet and build rapport with each other face-to-face, which was delightful to see and hear, allowing their friendships to grow into the sense of community we all desire here at OAC for our learners.
