Aboriginal Yarning Circle - Term 3
Posted on August 29, 2023
Join us for a Yarning Circle hosted by the Aboriginal Education Team at Open Access College on Friday, 15 September, starting 11am to 2.30pm.
We will have Karen from Australian Native foods with a new Bush Tucker demonstration. We also have Aunty Freda Mills. Aunty is a Narrunga /Kookatha and Gunditjmara/Jardwadjali/Werrigia elder who is working with Karen on growing, harvesting and utilising indigenous plants. This will be followed with our ACEO, Tracey, conducting another “Art experience” where you can help to finish our mural.
The Yarning Circle is an in-person event, held in the Boardroom North at the Open Access College campus. To ensure we
can accommodate everyone for this special occasion, please RSVP by September 11th.
