Being Me - Term 4

Being Me 4 0

We are excited to announce that "Being Me" is back for Term 4! This 6-week group therapy program is designed specifically for students in years 7-12, aiming to help them navigate the challenges of life in a supportive environment.

When: Sessions will be held every Tuesday from 2.30pm - 4.00pm.

Where: Join us online via Microsoft Teams.

Why: Based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, "Being Me" focuses on the difficult aspects of life and working towards the life we aspire to live despite these challenges. Led by experienced psychologist Sasha Miles, with support from Provisional Psychologists trained in the Department of Education, this program offers valuable strategies for managing challenging thoughts and emotions. All students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to attend, even if they just want to connect with other students and hear about their shared experiences!

What: 'Being Me' focuses on working out what is important to us (our values) and taking steps towards this life. We also give you strategies to help with difficult thoughts and feelings that get in the way of us living that life. Its also a great place to meet other students and hear about their similar experiences trying to navigate the teenage world and online school!
