Gypsy learns about Eddie Mabo

Year 6 student Gypsy was lucky enough to talk with her Aunty about Eddie Mabo and the significance of his actions which influenced change within her own community. She found out first-hand about his impact and was able to put together an information report about his life.

It was a moving experience for her and has further inspired her to seek out more information about her family and Aboriginal ancestry.
