Open Access College students in years 6, 7, 8 and 9 will be able to participate in the DfE Learning + program in term 1 2022.

How does it work?

The program is designed for students of all mathematical abilities, as it is individually tailored to each student’s learning needs, to support their academic growth and independent learning.

Students will be allocated a tutor, who is a qualified teacher with experience teaching mathematics and an in-depth understanding of the Australian Curriculum, and will participate in online tutoring for 30 minutes, twice a week for 10 weeks, after school and/or on weekends, commencing in Term 1, 2022.

For more information about the program visit Learning+ website www.education.sa.gov.au/learningplus

Parents of students in years 6, 7, 8 and 9 in 2022 will receive a letter with more detailed information and also information about how to enrol.

Parents are encouraged to talk with teachers about the program.
