National Apology Celebrations at Veale Gardens

On Wednesday February 13th ATSI parents and students attended Apology Celebrations in Veale Gardens.

We were treated to an exceptional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony followed by music from some very talented local musicians.

There were many family connections during the day with relatives catching up and spending time together. Stalls and information was available from Aboriginal Legal Rights and the various Indigenous organisations in Adelaide.

We had an exceptional good time and it was good to see some former OAC students on the day.
