Who is this course for?
Students who are interested in technology and interested in learning how to create mobile apps.
What will I learn
Students will learn how to use real data to drive the development of a mobile app.
There are two topics for Digital Technology A.
- Data Analytics will allow students to use computational thinking skills and strategies to analyse relationships in data sets, apply project design skills and create digital solutions based on data.
- Exploring Innovations will allow students to use their critical and creative thinking capability through exploring innovation (in this case mobile apps), including an understanding of what makes a solution innovative, and how to be innovative in their work.
How will I be assessed?
The following assessment types enable you to demonstrate your learning in Stage 1 Digital Technologies:
Assessment Type 1: Project Skills 60%
- at least two project skills tasks
Assessment Type 2: Digital Solution 40%
- at least one digital solution.
