Who is this course for?

This art elective is designed for students who want to focus on digitally created images using Photoshop as the central program for practical exercises. Other digital platforms will be explored throughout the course.

What will I learn?

Learn how to make eye-catching artworks with digital technologies and other less traditional materials. Explore Photoshop, Google Drawing and other digital media to create ‘art without paint’.
Have fun exploring art that tricks the eye. Look at how artists use digital drawing techniques to create the illusion of depth. Create your own ‘Little People’ scene using Photoshop and Photography.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be based on the Australian Curriculum, Visual Arts achievement standard.

Students will be assessed through:

  • Weekly skills tasks
  • Three major artworks and 1 folio
