Who is this course for?

Exploring Identities and Futures (EIF) is a compulsary subject that will replace PLP in 2023. All students must successfully complete EIF with a C grade or higher in order to successfully complete the subject.

What will I learn?

In this subject, you will have the opportunity to explore ideas related to an area of personal interest and:

  • Reflect on how different experiences in your life that have shaped your identity.
  • Explore a range of pathways and options for the future.
  • Understand the seven SACE capabilities
  • Students learn how to become a greater agents of their own learning.

How will I be assessed?

AT1: My Past, Present and Future 50%

- Developing a timeline of your life that including notable people, places, things, objects, locations, experiences etc and how they have shaped your current identity.

AT2: Putting your Capabilties into Action 50%

- Planning an action individually or collaboratively, execuation your plan and then evaluating what aspects were successful and what could have been improved.
