Certificate III Music Industry Band

On Friday Week 10 of Term 3, the Certificate III in Music Industry band Rise of the Human Snails returned to OAC for their final rehearsal.

Our main goal for this rehearsal was to explore improvisation through Jazz standards. We worked on the classics The Girl from Ipanema and Fly Me to the Moon. The students were able to flex their talented muscles in a different genre to their previous performances, and the audience of parents and staff enjoyed hearing these Jazz standards brought to life.

It has been my greatest pleasure being able to work with such talented young musicians.
