Harmony Week Kite Day

Kite1

To celebrate Harmony Week in week 8, students came on to Campus to make and fly a kite.

Students made two kites, and learned about symmetry and balance, also they learned a little about weather, (especially wind). It was a good way for students to build friendships and enjoy some peer group time.

One of our parents said:

"Louis has been talking about symmetry in his favourite things this week and has realised “butterflies maybe have symmetry and fly like kites too”

"It was a great session with so much rich learning opportunities for the kids. Louis had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back and do some gardening with you too. It was a great opportunity for him to come into school, build some relationships with others and feel proud to be part of his school community."
