Senior Come In Day Highlights

Senior Years Student Come-In Day brought together nearly 45 students for a purposeful program focused on career readiness, workplace confidence, and wellbeing.

Across the morning, students rotated through choice-based workshops that built practical skills—crafting professional resumes and cover letters, understanding workplace rights and safety with support from SA Unions, and exploring hands-on strategies to manage stress, boost energy, and stay focused.

The sessions were interactive, with opportunities to ask questions and link learning to real-world experiences, including apprenticeships and traineeships highlighted by Apprenticeship Support Australia.

The day culminated in a lively career expo featuring many exhibitors from job providers, tertiary institutions, and career services. Students left feeling informed and motivated, with a clearer picture of post-school pathways, greater confidence about the world of work, and practical tools for looking after their wellbeing.
