Share Your Aspirations for Educating Young Australians

You are invited to attend a consultation event for the review of the Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians.

The Education Council wants to hear from education stakeholders, including teachers, principals, students and parents.

The current Melbourne Declaration, agreed by Education Council ministers in 2008, articulates nationally consistent education goals for young Australians. It has guided the design and delivery of education and laid the foundation for the development of school curricula and assessment.
