Stage 1 Health & Wellbeing Excursion - Cleland Wildlife and National Park

As part of Stage 1 Health and Wellbeing students are encouraged to attend this event as part of the Assessment Type 1: Practical Action Task 2 at Cleland Wildlife and National Park. The excursion is an opportunity for students to gain real world insight, inspiration and be able to plan their assignment response.
Date: Monday 25 August
Time: 9.30am – 2.30pm
Location: Cleland Wildlife Park - 365 Mount Lofty Summit Rd, Crafers SA 5152
Students will meet their teacher/s at Cleland Wildlife Park main entrance from 9.00am. Following the conclusion of the event, students will be dismissed at 2.30pm from Cleland Wildlife Park main entrance.
Students must bring: Recess and lunch or ability to purchase at venue, water bottle, appropriate weather clothing, suitable walking footwear, hat and sunscreen, small backpack, pen/pencil and notebook.
Cost: There is a fee of $14.50 per student to be paid by 22/08/2025.

Photos may be taken by staff at this event and published on our website and Facebook page. If you have returned a media consent form at enrolment for 2025, no further action is needed. In line with our mobile phone policy, students will not be able to use their mobile phones during the event. When they arrive, they will be asked to place their phone in a Yondr Pouch, which they will receive when they arrive at the event. The pouch will remain on their person and locked for the duration of the event. Before leaving, students will need to sign out with teachers where the pouch will be unlocked. To Attend: Students will need to find their own way to and from Cleland Wildlife Park.

Financial assistance is available for students where Open Access College is the enrolling school and who live 80km from Adelaide CBD to attend face to face events.
