Who is this course for?

Students who want to learn about the successful management of business and enterprise issues in personal, business and social contexts locally, nationally and globally. No background knowledge is assumed.


What will I learn?

You will learn how and why businesses innovate through the development of knowledge, skills and understanding in:

* finding and solving problems

* decision making and project management

* financial literacy and information management

* global, local and digital perspectives

How will I be assessed?

You will demonstrate your learning through the following assessment types:

School Assessment (70%)

  • Business Skills (40%)
  • Business Model (30%)

External Assessment (30%)

  • Business Plan and Pitch 30%
  • Students are required to make direct contact with businesses, employees, customers and otherwise relevant stakeholders as part of all assessment types.
