Who is this course for?

Students interested in working with various traditional and digital media including: pen, pastel and Google Drawing tools. Students will explore how to use line, colour and shape to create pattern in artworks.

What will I learn?

  • Experiment with a number of different media and composition to create interesting patterns
  • Plan your art-making in response to exploration of techniques and processes used in your own and others artworks
  • Use Google Sheets to create your own pixel art.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be based on the Australian Curriculum, Visual Arts achievement standard.

Students will be assessed through:

  • Weekly skills tasks
  • 4 Major artworks
  • Folio work to show the design process
