Who is this course for?

Students who have an interest in sport and recreation activities. The aim of these activities is not to compete against other students in the class but to focus on your skill development and learning through participation in different activities.

This course is suited to all fitness levels and will incorporate a wide variety of activitites.

Students who enrol in this course must be motivated to participate in activities outside of lesson time.

What will I learn?

You will learn a range of personal and social skills through participation in sport and recreational activities.

You will learn to work collaboratively with other members of the class on a group task.

You will improve your ability to critically analyse both issues in society as well as your performance in a range of activities.

How will I be assessed?

You will demonstrate your learning through the following:

  • Practical Explorations
  • Connections (Group Work)
  • Personal Venture
