Who is this course for?

What will I learn

You may follow an Art or Design strand. You will have opportunities to explore the vast field of visual art and design forms that exist across diverse cultural and historical platforms including looking at contemporary art and design.

Creativity and artistic expression are central to the learning in art and design. You will have the opportunity to create resolved works which may include:

  • Art: Video, installation, assemblage, digital imaging, painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, photography, fabrication (wood, plastic, or metal), sculpture, ceramics, and textiles
  • Design: Product design: e.g. toy, fashion, furniture. Graphic and visual communication design: e.g. branding, illustration, and advertising
