Who is this course for?

Students interested in investigating local issues, considering environmental and historical questions and to creatively present findings.

What will I learn

You will investigate the world around you by undertaking geography fieldwork and interviewing people about their past. This is a practical course that applies the skills of both History and Geography.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be based on achievement standards and will consider:

  • your skills of investigation into complex social issues
  • your communication skills
  • your skills to reflect and evaluate
  • your ability to problem solve
