Free Parenting Program: "Who’s in Charge?"

Parenting Program Whos in Charge

Are you finding it difficult to manage your child’s behaviour at home? You're not alone — many parents and carers face challenges with young people who show defiance, aggression, or controlling behaviours.

Who’s in Charge? is a free 8-week program designed specifically for parents and carers of young people aged 8–18 who are experiencing these kinds of difficulties.

This supportive group course provides a safe, understanding space where you can:

  • Connect and share experiences with other parents and carers

  • Learn practical strategies for managing difficult behaviours

  • Build confidence in your parenting

  • Improve safety, reduce stress, and restore positive relationships at home

Flyers are attached for two upcoming Who’s in Charge? courses—one held at Enfield Library and the other at Port Adelaide Library. This program is delivered by Centacare Catholic Family Services, with support from the Department of Social Services.
