Who is this course for?

Students interested in investigating significant current social issues, both legally and historically and to also better understand possible solutions.

What will I learn

You will investigate, for example how can there still be 30 million people living as slaves in 2014. To undertake this investigation, you will be applying in a practical way the skills of both Civics & Citizenship and History.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be based on achievement standards and will consider:

  • your skills of investigation into complex social issues
  • your communication skills
  • your skills to reflect and evaluate
  • your ability to problem solve
